LEAR Blue Mauritius
An island welcome. An ocean of discovery.
A mainland Beach Resort in Mauritius linked by yacht, catamaran or helicopter to an offshore destination at Saya de Malha Bank.
Explore a partnershipA separate Indian Ocean proposal brings together a mainland Beach Resort in Mauritius and an offshore destination at Saya de Malha Bank. The vision connects hospitality and wellness with marine science, conservation and the infrastructure to support them.
This is a development proposal, not an operating destination. Site suitability, marine jurisdiction, environmental safeguards, engineering, funding and relevant approvals would need to be established before delivery.
From the island to the open ocean
The proposed Beach Resort would welcome guests on Mauritius and support arrivals, wellness stays, conferences and marine logistics. Planned yacht, catamaran or helicopter transfers would connect it with the offshore destination, subject to operating conditions and approvals.
Room for connection. Space for quiet.
Marina World brings dining, gathering spaces and ocean exploration together. Serenity World offers a slower pace through private overwater stays, meditation and wellness retreats. Research, discovery and residential areas complete the proposed offshore community.
Two Power Towers, one connected vision
Twin landmarks are proposed offshore and on mainland Mauritius. Alongside hospitality and observation spaces, their intended roles include renewable energy, marine operations, communications, secure data services and AI infrastructure.
Science woven into the experience
A Marine Science & Innovation Centre would support ocean research, university collaboration and environmental monitoring. An Ocean Discovery Centre would bring that work closer to guests through guided exploration, underwater robotics and educational experiences.
Let the environment guide the plan
Saya de Malha’s seagrass habitats and marine biodiversity are central to the briefing. The proposal calls for ecological studies, habitat protection and ongoing water-quality monitoring, with restoration initiatives assessed for local suitability. Seabed samples from any approved foundation work could also support geological and climate research.
Conservation benefits are goals to evaluate and measure, not outcomes that can be promised in advance.
A business beyond room bookings
The business plan combines accommodation, dining, marinas, wellness and events with research partnerships, education, residences and technology services. These are proposed sources of income, not guaranteed financial returns.
Its staged approach begins with mainland hospitality, environmental studies and essential infrastructure, followed by offshore facilities and measured expansion as feasibility, funding and demand allow.
